The best way to know if Piriápolis is right for you is to live here for a week, not as a tourist, but as a resident. The Piriápolis Experience gives you exactly that. For $200 (USD), you get one week of real daily life in Piriápolis, with a knowledgeable expat available to share her experience, answer your questions, and help you get a genuine feel for life here. A private room in her home is included if you want it.
This is designed for people who are seriously considering a move to Uruguay and want to experience it firsthand before deciding. A week here will tell you more than months of research.

Piriápolis Co-living House Long-term · approximately USD $650/month · In development · 2026
A furnished private room in a shared house, designed for people who are ready to make the move and want to do it alongside others. Shared kitchen, living spaces, garden, and parrilla. All utilities included. The house will accommodate a small number of residents who value both their independence and the warmth of shared daily life.

Piriápolis Supported Co-living Long-term · approximately USD $1,300/month · In development
For people who want or need a meaningful level of daily support, with meals, housekeeping, transportation, healthcare coordination, exercise, and more, without moving into an institutional care setting. A private room in a shared house, with bilingual staff providing consistent, compassionate support tailored to each resident’s needs.
This is not assisted living as most people know it. It is a home, with help built in. At an estimated cost of $1,300 (USD) per month all-inclusive, it offers a level of support that would cost four to six times as much in the United States.
This option is currently in development. Early interest is welcome and will help shape what the house becomes.
